MIGHTY PATCH

DEZ:

Pimples. Zits. Acne. Regardless of what you call it, I have confidence that I can speak for almost all of us when I say that this is nobody’s favorite thing to deal with! My skin is more on the dry side and I typically deal with a few hormonal pimples here and there. As much as I’m incredibly thankful to only deal with breakouts every so often, that doesn’t change the fact that I’m always looking for a quick fix.

I recently purchased the Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Invisible Acne Patch in hopes to help resolve this sporadic problem. During my multiple uses, I found that these invisible acne patches helped to minimize and reduce the pressure of my pimples, but they don’t completely remove it. Regardless, I was still pleased with these results because dealing with painful pimples is just plain awful. However, I did some additional research on these specific patches and found that the Invisible Acne Patch works best on white heads, which makes sense. I mostly deal with undersurface blemishes so it’s rare that I get white heads. I should have probably purchased the Micropoint for Blemishes, which is intended to control zits that are under your skin. Despite the intent of the Invisible Acne Patch to be used on white heads, all my results have been impressive and not to mention they’re completely invisible, so don’t forget to remove it. (I may be speaking from experience there.) At 17.99 for a 39 pack, this is a Honey, Yasss!

**I also want to add, that in addition to the two above mentioned patches, there are three other options that may help with your specific skin needs. The Mighty Patch Original is the basic acne patch that is intended to be used overnight, as this one is not invisible. The Mighty Patch Surface is a larger size of the Mighty Patch Original. This is intended to cover larger areas or breakout clusters. Lastly, the Micropoint for Dark Spots is to be used to combat zits that leave marks. This product claims to have ingredients that help brighten areas where dark spot may be left post breakouts. Given my experience with the Invisible Acne Patches, I have confidence that one of these patches may help resolve any blemish issue you may have.

PJ:

Like most girls, I tend to break out around my period. Having PCOS (a hormonal and metabolic disorder) doesn’t help matters much. I used a salicylic acid mask during this time to help out but I always wanted something to target each blemish directly.

Enter in Daryl-Ann and her recommendation of the Mighty Patch Acne Dots. I am a huge fan. For me, they help to bring the blemish to a head and reduce redness and puffiness. I will admit, sometimes you do need to wear a patch on the blemish for a few days in a row in order to really dry it out all the way.

Overall, they really help my blemishes heal faster and I couldn’t really ask for more! This one is a Honey, Yasss for me!

TAYLER:

Nobody likes pimples or acne but for most of us, this is an inevitable part of life. In my case, I am most prone to hormonal breakouts along my jawline near that time of the month. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a way to fully avoid this.

I typically rotate using a generic salicylic acid acne spot treatment and the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion on my breakouts. This combination usually gives me decent results. However, the other Honies suggested trying out these patches so I thought I’d give them a shot! After trying them out on a few different blemishes, unfortunately I didn’t see much in terms of results. This may be due to the fact that my blemishes usually are under the skin and do not have white heads which apparently this version is intended for.

Just like Dez mentioned, I think I would have benefitted more from the Mighty Patch Micropoint which is meant to treat deeper blemishes. I do love that these patches can be purchased on Amazon which is always super convenient but I probably won’t be repurchasing this specific version. However, I will keep using the rest of the box in hopes that maybe I’ll start seeing some more significant results. For me and my blemishes these are kind of just meh.
