JLO BEAUTY- THAT LIMITLESS GLOW SHEET MASK

TAYLER:

While I love skincare and prioritize taking care of my skin, face masks aren’t my go to when I want to splurge on a beauty product. But when the Honies and I heard that JLo herself had come out with her own skincare line we knew we had to try it out! I mean her skin is serious #goals.

We decided the JLo Beauty That Limitless Glow Sheet Mask would be a good way to test out her new line plus this mask is recommended for all skin types which is great for us. The Limitless Glow Mask is intended to target fine lines and wrinkles, dryness, loss of firmness and elasticity. Personally, I don’t like a sheet mask that promises to do too much in one use because (at least in my experience) that’s never the case. While this one didn’t necessarily promise too much, I did still feel somewhat let down by it. First, the mask came in two parts which I felt made application slightly more difficult for someone who already isn’t a big sheet mask fan in the first place. Second, since the mask is fragrance free (which I can appreciate since not everyone can do fragrance) I feel like all I could smell was the serum the mask was soaked in which I wasn’t a fan of. It smelled almost “medical” if that makes any sense? It could just be me since I have a somewhat heightened sense of smell but some sort of essential oil would have helped e enjoy it more.

After using the mask my results were decent enough but at $18 per mask I was expecting so much more. Like most other sheet masks I’ve used, my skin felt hydrated but I didn’t really notice any glow or that my skin felt tighter or plumper. Maybe with continued use of the masks you could potentially start to notice real changes in your skin but this particular mask is priced a bit high to do so in my opinion. At the end of the day, it’s good but not great plus it’s pricey for the results you get, therefore this one is just meh for me.

Honies, we’re back at it again with yet another face mask review. Only this time, we had to see if this Queen’s new skincare line is worth all the hype. That’s right, I’m talking about the JLo Beauty That Limitless Glow Sheet Mask. Could this mask truly be the secret to getting the ageless and nearly flawless skin of the icon herself?

The Glow Sheet Mask comes in two pieces, which are specifically designed to target the lower half of your face separately from the upper half of your face. The mask is saturated with the signature That JLo Glow Serum. I can confirm that after using the mask for the advised 10 minutes, my face felt a bit tighter, more hydrated, and slightly more plumped. By morning, the tighter and plumper feeling that I experienced immediately after using the face mask had diminished, for the most part. However, I did notice for the entire next day and maybe a little into the second day, my face showed signs of being more hydrated and less dry.

Naturally, I adored the rose gold packaging and overall felt the product has pretty reasonable benefits. However, I feel that the $18 price point for one mask was a little too steep, given how short-lived the benefits were. I may love JLo, but That Limitless Glow Sheet Mask is Just Meh.

PJ:

What woman wouldn’t want to look like JLo? She’s an icon and seems to be aging in reverse so it makes a lot of sense that she came out with her own skin care and beauty line called JLO Beauty. The Honies and I were most intrigued by the JLo Beauty That Limitless Glow Sheet Mask. It promises tightened lifted skin along with extreme hydration and a “supernova-level glow”. It is also fragrance free so it definitely peaked my interest because it has been hard to find a sheet mask with no fragrance.

On the other hand, the $18 per mask price makes this more of a monthly mask for me vs. a weekly. When you open the package you notice that the mask comes in 2 pieces which I found to be weird honestly. The other weird part is that it has two ear holes you need to loop around your ears and this created the tight hold that will help with the firming effects of the mask. It is kind of awkward to put them on but when you do you can definitely feel the skin being pulled tightly. While the mask is on there was a slightly tingly feeling (at least for me) and I do not have typically sensitive skin so it did not bother me but it may be something to consider. You are only supposed to wear the mask for 10 min but at $18 a mask I decided to leave mine on for 30 min. If it is your first time trying and you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend that.

Once the mask came off my skin definitely felt smooth and super soft. There was definitely a noticeable glow. As far as firming goes I didn’t notice very dramatic results. Personally the Wishful Skin Chin Lift mask offers me better results as far a sculpting the face go and for half the price. All in all, the mask is good. But at $18 a pop I was hoping it would be great. I will for sure use these occasionally but I could easily live without it. For these reason, this one is Honey meh for me.
