While, I am starting to enjoying my 30’s for many reasons, my fine lines and wrinkles are not on that list. Like at all. Thankfully, my fellow Honies are always down to try a new product that may help in that department. I had used Dr Brandt products before (especially love their pore refiner primer) but I saw a product that looked like it may help with my undereye issues on Katy Roach’s (@livingmybeststyle) stories- the Dr. Brandt Needles No More No More Baggage Eye De-puffing Gel.

I don’t necessarily deal with under bags that need de-puffing but this product also claimed to aid with smoothing fine lines and eliminating darkness. The marketing basically makes you feel like it will work with no questions asked. So, we all ordered it convinced it would blow our minds. Of course I tried it as soon as I received it in the mail. And with big build up usually comes a big let down and this one was definitely that. I followed the directions exactly and even tried using different ways not mentioned by the company. No matter the order I put it on in my routine, or if I warmed it between my fingers or not; I got the same result which was essentially none.

The product did not do anything notable to help smooth my undereyes or make them appear brighter. I have tried using again and again and each time I actually dislike how my makeup looks. I am so sad that this one didn’t work out because I really do like this brand and their other products but this one is definitely a Honey, No for me!

I’m a firm believer in being confident in who you are and what you look like. Confidence plays so much in each of our lives, in so many ways, so I always try to support women (and men) in owning that. However, I understand time moves incredibly fast and while we might be enjoying life as it quickly passes us by, that doesn’t mean we’re getting any younger. For many of us, this typically means that we start to show some or more signs of aging, like under-eye bags. Whether that’s from sleep deprivation, stress or even genetics; under-eye baggage is very real and, in my opinion, completely undesired.

Botox and other cosmetic work are always options that I fully support. We all should do what we want to keep us happy and of course, confident. However, Botox and other procedures may not be feasible or desired by some, so I think it’s great that there are alternative options on the market.

Our Honey, PJ first introduced me to the Dr. Brandt Needles No More No More Baggage after she briefly explained how it aids with under-eye bags and dark circles. She hadn’t used the product yet, but after we all did a little research on the product I think it was obvious that we are all very busy Honies and a little extra help with under-eye bags can always be of use.

The Dr. Brandt Needles No More No More Baggage explains that you can use this product alone or under makeup. Since purchasing the product, I’ve worn it both ways and as sad as this makes me to say, I didn’t see much of a difference. I even went back to the directions to ensure I was using the product correctly, by rubbing a small amount between my fingers before patting it on my under-eyes. I don’t have extreme under-eye bags or dark circles, but they are much more prominent when I am running low on sleep. I thought maybe I would see more of a difference on a day where my bags stood out more and unfortunately have gotten the same results. I do feel like it somewhat adds a little smoothness to the under-eye area, but I do not feel like it assisted with my eye bags or circles. Thus, I can’t agree with its claim of a “stress-free look of youth.” At $42 and essentially just a slight under-eye smoother, this is a Honey, No for me.

While on my clean beauty journey, I unfortunately lost my favorite product of all time. I have talked about the fact that I have pretty huge dark circles and that I am obsessed with the Olehenriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream which is a great product and has helped me so much. Unfortunately it has an 8 rating in the Think Dirty app due to having fragrance in it so I can’t use it anymore as it can worsen my hormonal imbalance and exacerbate my endo and PCOS symptoms. Right around the time I discovered this, the Honies decided we would try the Dr. Brandt Needles No More, No More Baggage.

I don’t actually really get bags under my eyes, I just have dark circles so I was prepared to be unimpressed and stressed I would never love anything as much as my former toxic product ex, Ole. I basically went in kicking and screaming! As it usually goes when you think you know it all, I was totally freaking wrong! I am obsessed, in love, over the moon and down right bonkers for this product! It gives immediate results and is the only product I have ever found that almost fills in fine lines and makes them disappear. I never thought I would find a product that helped with fine lines, I thought that was a curse of aging that only filler and Botox could touch.

I put this on at the end of my morning skin care routine. I warm up a pea sized amount between my fingers and I just dab it in. You feel instant cooling which is very refreshing. I then add on top the Tula Rose Glow Brightening Eye Balm before I do primer and makeup or just go with CC cream for the day. Lately, my skin has been doing so good that I have often been skipping makeup and just going natural with the Dr. Brandt and Tula and the combo is so great! Honey YES, Honey YES! It is so nice to feel confident in just my natural skin and this product has been a big contributor to that. Glad I am eating my doubt/words and that this one hit it out of the park.
